Local Nonprofit Receives Four Grants AND Facilitates Magnified Giving With Their Own Program Participants
One local nonprofit had a special opportunity this year - their clients both gave and received Magnified Giving grant funds! At Magnified Giving, we hope to teach philanthropy to all students in our region, especially high-risk students, who have so much to gain from the empowering benefits of giving and serving. This year, we reached more high-risk students than ever through our Extension Programs, or programs hosted outside of a traditional classroom or club environment.

Mini Cheesecakes Make A Big Impact
For the 2021 Magnified Giving Fall Dinner, we are honored to invite a local small business, Maggie’s Marvelous Mini Cheesecakes, to provide over 200 mini cheesecakes for dessert! Not only do we love these sweet cheesecakes, but we love the founder’s heart to serve her community.
Bearcats Who Care - UC Interns Provide Critical Support To Magnified Giving
This year alone, four UC students joined the long list of Bearcats who have helped shape Magnified Giving and used their skills and talents to advance our mission! We value our connection with UC, and we love having Bearcats in the building!

Developing New Philanthropists - One Summer Camp At A Time
Local nonprofits joined together this summer to help meet community needs in a creative way: by teaching 5th-8th graders how to be philanthropists and leaders during an engaging summer camp. The program, called Camp Give, was started by Evendale-based nonprofit Magnified Giving in 2017 as an extension of their mission to educate, inspire, and engage students in philanthropy.

Local Documentary Wins Gold At MUSE Awards And Silver At Telly Awards
A documentary about the life journey of Magnified Giving founder and Cincinnati philanthropist, Roger Grein, has won gold at the 2020 MUSE Awards and silver at the 2021 Telly Awards. Each award is the second highest achievement for their respective organization.

Bowling For Good: Local Student Leverages Passion For Bowling To Fight Child Hunger
While most people might not make a connection between bowling and the fight against childhood food insecurity, local senior Jeremy Boggs was not afraid to combine the two in order to make an impact. For his senior capstone project at Clark Montessori High School, Jeremy felt compelled to use his love for competitive bowling to accomplish something positive.

9th grader Isabella Battle survived leukemia as a child thanks to the care and treatment she received at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. As a young philanthropist in Magnified Giving, she used her voice to give back and fight for treatment for others.

East Clinton Family Receives Service Dog Thanks To Funds Raised By Magnified Giving Students
In 2018, we shared the inspiring story of how students in the Magnified Giving Program at East Clinton High School raised $4,000 for 4 Paws for Ability in order to fund a service dog placement for the family of a former program participant. Holden the Golden Lab is finally with his family!

Thanks To Camp Give, Local Teen Is Ready For A Future Of Philanthropy
When long-time donors Joe & Gladys Stolz gifted their grandson Dominic a registration to Camp Give in 2017, they set off a chain reaction that changed his life and more deeply instilled the importance of service for their whole family.
