Youth Philanthropy Program
Learning to Serve with Time, Talent, and Treasure
Engaging youth in service and grant making in a club, classroom, or youth development program.
What is the Youth Philanthropy Program?
Currently, at over 130 schools and community organizations in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky (and a handful in Cleveland, Dayton!), we support a teacher or facilitator with curriculum and lesson plans to educate their students about social causes and how to use their time, talents, and treasure to make a difference. We provide each group with a $1,000 grant and empower the youth participants to select a local nonprofit organization to support with the grant funding. The process provides a meaningful and memorable opportunity to build relationships with local organizations, serve others, and meet community needs.
Grades 6-12
Can be implemented in a classroom, club, after-school program, or community youth development program
We provide resources and support to help each facilitator implement the program to fit the opportunities and needs of their school or agency
