Together, Let’s Develop Young Philanthropists at Your School or Organization!

We provide the resources, training, and support for a selected teacher, counselor, administrator, staff member, or parent to facilitate a service-learning and philanthropy education program in your classroom, club, or organization. The Magnified Giving process gives you the flexibility to implement the program to best fit your culture.

We believe youth have time, talent, and treasure to support our communities, and our mission is to teach them how! We provide your group of 5th-12th graders with $1,000 to support a local nonprofit, which will inspire and engage youth in the grant-making process.

From Our Facilitators

Our Youth Philanthropy Program Facilitators tell us how philanthropy education benefits their them and their youth!

“I am so proud of our students' communication skills and how they have grown over the years. It is not easy for high schoolers these days to pick up the phone and CALL an ADULT or write a professional email. Our students really stepped up to the plate and did awesome! Through the years I have learned to let go and let the students take ownership. When you allow for this kind of leadership and growth the students can do amazing things!”

- Ashley Minnick, Turpin High School

“This is by-far the most loved project / assignment of the year. They enjoy the opportunity to feel like they're making a positive difference in our community. They also appreciate learning about all of the wonderful non-profit organizations in our community. They were inspired by Roger's story and a big take-away was to focus on what they "can" do rather than what they "can't" do.”

- Amy Mahaffey, Lakota East High School

“I am always touched/impacted by students that begin this process semi-disconnected and find themselves drawn in when they find agencies they can relate to. This year a couple of students really connected to military agencies because of bonds they have with grandparents. In the second semester a couple of students connected with Back2Back ministries because their families support orphans and families in poverty on a regular basis. Students start to engage in the process through interest and passion.”

- Lynnette Viox, Loveland High School School
