Our Founder, Mr. Roger Grein
In addition to founding Magnified Giving, Roger Grein is a respected businessman, entrepreneur, and a world championship-winning softball coach. He’s also one of the most kind, thoughtful, gentle, and intelligent people you’ll ever meet. Roger has led a meaningful life in service to others, overcoming many obstacles through perseverance and his faith.
Roger often visits classrooms and organizations to share his life story with youth in the Magnified Giving program, and many say it is an important and memorable catalyst in their philanthropy journey. To make his story accessible to our youth for years to come, we created an award-winning documentary capturing his inspiring tale and the origins of our organization. Roger is also the subject of a short documentary film, “To the Stars,” about his “hike-of-a-lifetime” to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back at the age of 81 in April 2024.
